You heard it here first

Well, second or third probably. Anyway, some of my collected rustic witterings should be appearing through a reputable publisher sometime later this year: articles, rants, poems and wacky letters to an imaginary local newspaper. It's gone under the working title of "Wellies", but now needs something short, daft and marketable to put on the cover.

Suggestions please!

Wow -- congratulations, Sue! I'll try and think of a good byline or two. When will this come out?

Well, later this year. Hayloft have had a printed rough draft to evaluate, and now it's my job to polish the text, make sure I've included what i want to include, and produce some illustrations (some photos and some drawings and some cartoons; probably). While I'm doing that, Hayloft will estimate costs for a suitable format, paper type, and jacket price, then we can get it typeset and start promoting it.

Sue -- are you still there? I'm still hoping we can meet before the summer is over! Did you get my e-mail?

I'm now going to call it "Horses in the Garden" and I've written a new piece under that title to go at the beginning of the collection. See the Great Writing web site for that!
